User Scenario
Marsha, a 21 year old OCAD student, never gets much sleep. She slowly drags herself to school on March 26th and sits through her first class trying not to doze off. Her head is cloudy and she really wants to go home. She just wishes something could jolt her into waking up. Her friend runs up to her all flushed and exclaims 'That was so much fun!'. Marsha inquires as to what and her friend responds that she should go to the main building and look at some of the new student projects. She decides it might be worth it to check out.
As she passes through the main building she comes across the Experience design projects on display. She sees an open sided room, much like those earthquake simulation rooms. It is slightly elevated with two people flanking it. Marsha approaches and notices there are a series of random shelves on the wall, each shelf containing a rather large 1’x1’ thick, Styrofoam puzzle piece. On the wall is a large 5’x5’ frame that looks like it should hold the puzzle pieces to form a picture.
Marsha decides ‘Why not, looks easy enough’. She goes up the platform and stands in the room. Just as she reaches for the first puzzle piece the simulated room beings to shake and rock. The puzzle pieces tumble off the shelves and she scrambles to grab at them and maintain her balance. She starts to think it’s pretty fun as she tries to fit the pieces into the frame, her adrenaline pumping. Marsha rocks back and forth and shakes but she is successful in finishing the puzzle on the wall. As soon as she finishes the shaking stops and the picture that the pieces form makes her laugh.
She feels much more awake now and goes to her next class.
