Sara is a 19 year old, second year student at the Ontario College of Art and Design. She has been keeping up with her studies all year round, and hasn’t had that much time to go out. Because of this reason, she has been looking for something fun and exciting to do, that would be conveniently close to her school.
During her high school years, Sara was very much involved in drama and musical theatre and enjoyed dressing up and acting as if she was somebody else. Since school has been keeping her very busy, she wants to find something that relates to this interest, since it’s pleasurable, but not stressful.
Through a teacher who got to learn about Sara’s passion for theatrical arts, she hears that the first year students at OCAD are holding an event that might be of interest to her. The day of the event, Sara shows up just to see what all the hype is about. First thing she notices is the music coming from one side of the room. To her surprise, she sees three full racks of costumes and a miniature runway stretched across the floor. Sara could not believe the scene in front of her, right inside the OCAD auditorium. This is just what she needed.
